Today the Carolina Forest Sunrise Rotary was proud to host the Installation Ceremony of the 2023-2024 Coastal Carolina University Rotaract Club Officers. Ceremonies that celebrate the accomplishments and future potential of Rotary youth leaders has always been one of my favorite Rotary Meetings of the year!
CCU student and Rotaract member Hannah Watson was selected by her fellow members to guide the club’s affairs during this coming year. She has been entrusted with the important responsibility that will shape the club’s future. On Wednesday, October 4th, 2023, Hannah raised her right hand and was sworn in as President of the Rotaract Club of Coastal Carolina University.
In addition, two more administrative positions have been filled in the Board of Directors. CCU student Emanuel Raglin was elected as Rotaract Club Vice President and Michael Maxwell was elected as Rotaract Club Treasurer. Together, Hannah, Emanuel, and Michael were installed, with ceremony led by Carolina Forest Youth Services Chair Porter Medley, Club President Steven Manz, and Rotarian Cindy Gettig.
Hannah, Emanual and Michael have been elected to these important positions in the administration of the Rotaract Club of Coastal Carolina University because of the esteem and confidence their fellow Rotaractors have in them. In addition, the Carolina Forest Rotary Club also believes the Board will uphold the high traditions of their club, give the best of their executive ability to the furtherance and interests of the club, and will carry forward the object of Rotary.
