Like many of the people he helps, Dan relocated to the Myrtle Beach region and hasn’t looked back. Working for Merrill since 2015 has brought him together with clients from all different backgrounds, many sharing a common desire to pursue what they enjoy in life, while not forgetting about the needs of those they love. Dan has those personal conversations with clients who are challenged by multiple priorities. They want to do the right thing by their family and, at the same time, lead a healthy, active lifestyle while preparing for the challenges of longevity.
Dan is often kept busy helping clients plan for needs that go beyond their portfolio. One day he may be working with clients and their aging parents on strategies to help simplify their lives; the next day he may be assisting them with decisions on how to best monetize a business or real estate investment. He talks with clients about how they might want to recognize family milestones, such as graduations, anniversaries, births, and job promotions. When conversations turn to the challenges of aging, such as the need for long-term care and income for a surviving spouse, Dan strives to offer a financial approach that can help people sleep well at night.
When he isn’t busy talking with clients, you may find Dan researching financing options for a business owner or home buyer, or working with CPAs, attorneys, and specialized teams at Bank of America, to help clients with their estate needs and health-related documents. Dan is dedicated to doing whatever he can to help simplify complexities and assist you with strategies to help maintain your lifestyle within a variety of scenarios.
He is a graduate of The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor’s degree in Justice Studies, where he also volunteered as a Criminal Law teacher’s aide. He holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ designation.
Dan resides in Pawleys Island with his wife and three children and enjoys family camping trips where they can hike and explore nature. Dan coaches recreational soccer and is active in leadership at his church.
