Jim Quinney is one of the newest Rotarians in our Carolina Forest Sunrise Club. But he has been a Rotarian for several years coming to our community from Sacramento, California. He is already proving to be an integral part of our club’s success. He is
currently serving our club as Fund Raising & Marketing Chair.
Jim is married to his lovely bride Amy and they have 2 children, Katie and Sarah. Jim is the Regional Philanthropy Manager for
the Southeast region with Rise Against Hunger, which is a collaborating organization with Rotary International. Rise Against Hunger supports world-wide hunger relief through meal packing events, and our club hopes to participate in such an event soon
coordinating with local leaders and CCU. In addition to being a Sustaining member of Rotary International, Jim has also served as Rotary Foundation Chair with his previous club, and he is very close to the efforts there still. Jim is also a part of the Haiti Education & Development Corp. They are building schools in Haiti which will support education for over 250 young students.
We are both proud and fortunate that Jim is a member of our Club!!! We are certain he will be a major part of our success going
forward, and we look forward to many more years of dedicated service!!
