District Governor Lou Mello visited Rotary Club of Carolina Forest Sunrise. During his talk to the Carolina Forest Rotarians, Mello touched on a wide variety of topics including encouraging club service, supporting local club membership efforts, and updates on Rotary youth exchange & Global Scholar Programming.
Lou Mello, who joined Rotary in 1999 after moving to Mt. Pleasant, is the 2023-2024 current district governor and the 2013-14 past district governor of the 7770 district that comprises over 70 clubs in the eastern half of South Carolina. For Rotary District 7770, Mello has served many positions including Assistant Governor, Foundation Chair, the Paul Harris Society Chair, Youth Exchange Chair, and the Global Scholar Chair. There is no question of DG Lou Mello’s dedication and love for Rotary. The Carolina Forest Rotarians look forward to this Rotary Year under the leadership of Lou Mello.
