The Rotary Club of Carolina Forest Sunrise Economic Advancement Scholarship Application

The Carolina Forest Sunrise Rotary Club will award up to 2 scholarships of $500 each for the 2022 – 2023 academic year to students graduating from Carolina Forest High School in June 2022 to study at any accredited institution of higher education located in SC Rotary District 7770 in any field related to any of the seven Rotary Areas of Focus. In addition, the Rotary Club will assign mentors to each student awarded a scholarship to support the student’s professional development and career mentoring.

 

Application Process

All applicants must provide the following information to cfsrc.scholarship@gmail.com by May 2, 2022, at 11:59 PM local time:

    • Completed scholarship application with signature.
    • High school transcript showing Carolina Forest High School as the base school. An unofficial transcript will also be accepted.
    • Acknowledgment of acceptance into a degree program at an accredited institution of higher education in SC Rotary District #7770.
    • Recommendation letter from a high school counselor, teacher, or employer. Applications will be acknowledged and reviewed by the scholarship committee of the club, and those selected for a brief interview (to take place at Carolina Forest High School) will be notified by May 13, 2022.

Those selected for the award after the interview will be notified no later than June 1, 2022.
