Three quarters of Americans are obese or overweight. The average American consumes the equivalent of four pounds of sugar every ten days. There are good carbs and bad carbs. White foods like bread and process foods are bad. They turn to sugar in the body. Whole foods are best. If you can’t pick it, peel it, or shoot it, don’t eat it. Make small lifestyle changes. All about moderation. Exercise is important. Three habits for losing the weight that will stay off:

1. Drink lots of water

2. Eat less sugar

3. Eat a lot of plants

Eat a pound of vegetables each day and supplement with lean proteins such as fish, chicken, or pork. Keto diets are high fat and not good. These diets are responsible for building up excess fat around the organs. Long term fasting is also not good for your health. Fill your body with foods that have the most nutrients and the least number of calories.
